Jordan M. Hahn is a writer/director and editor based in Los Angeles.
They have received recognition from A.C.E. and were the recipient of the Best Editing Award at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival for Beach Logs Kill (premiere: SXSW '24). Jordan has written and directed a multitude of short films and music videos which have been screened at Palm Springs, SXSW Sydney, and Lower East Side FF. In 2021, Jordan’s sci-fi film Happy Hunting was licensed by Gunpowder & Sky’s DUST streaming service, which has accrued hundreds of thousands of streams online. They are currently in development with Madhouse Films on a feature-length version of their short film Blood Boys, which is in the midst of its festival run. Jordan was also selected by Extatica Cine to participate in their 2026 Azores Residency as a mentee of Werner Herzog. The short film created in that residency is planned for release in 2026.
As a musician, Jordan received a BM in Music for Film, Television, and Multimedia from NYU and has self-produced 3 full length studio albums with their band ackerman, which have also accrued hundreds of thousands of streams online.
Their love of adventure has taken them from learning tambor in the Andes to joining a Djembe wedding band in Conakry, Guinea.
